Chicken Lebanese Tikka Recipe 🍗🔥
Ingredients:
🔸 500g boneless chicken (cut into cubes)
🔸 3 tbsp thick yogurt
🔸 1 tbsp garlic paste
🔸 1 tbsp olive oil
🔸 1 tbsp lemon juice
🔸 1 tsp paprika
🔸 1 tsp cumin powder
🔸 1 tsp coriander powder
🔸 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
🔸 1/2 tsp black pepper
🔸 1 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
🔸 Salt to taste
🔸 1 tbsp tomato paste
🔸 1 tsp dried oregano or mixed herbs
Instructions:
🔸 Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces.
🔸 In a bowl, mix yogurt, garlic paste, olive oil, lemon juice, tomato paste, and all the spices.
🔸 Add the chicken and coat well with the marinade.
🔸 Cover and marinate for at least 2–4 hours (overnight for best flavour).
🔸 Thread the chicken onto skewers or place on a baking tray.
🔸 Grill in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20–25 minutes, turning halfway, until cooked and slightly charred.
🔸 Alternatively, cook on a pan or BBQ grill until juicy and golden.
🔸 Serve hot with garlic sauce, hummus, or pita bread and enjoy 🍗🔥
