  1. Setting Up an Online Account:

4.1 Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to create an online shopping account with us or place orders. We rely on the information provided during account setup to confirm your age.

4.2 Delivery Address: You must have a delivery address within our delivery areas to create an account. We only authorize accounts within our delivery areas. If we expand into your area, we can notify you.

4.3 Payment: To set up an online shopping account, you must have a valid debit/credit card, PayPal account, or VISA Checkout account in your name. The card used for confirmation must match the one used to complete the order. We do not accept cash, cheques, in-store coupons, gift vouchers, or printed coupons online.

4.4 Updating Information: Keep your contact details updated so we can reach you regarding your orders. You can update this information through your online account or by contacting our Customer Care team.

4.5 Security: Safeguard your username and password. You are responsible for all activities and orders made under your account.

4.6 Monitoring: We monitor all online purchases and transactions. We reserve the right to suspend or cancel any customer online account at our discretion and without notice.

4.7 Agreement: You must agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety to shop online with us.

  1. Online Prices and Payment:

5.1 Prices: Prices displayed on our website apply to the next available delivery. You will be charged and your order dispatched on the next available delivery slot in your area.

5.2 Errors: While we make every effort to ensure accurate pricing, errors may occur. We reserve the right to refuse orders based on incorrect or inaccurate information, including pricing. We will inform you of pricing mistakes and offer the option to proceed with the correct price or cancel the order.

5.3 Minimum Order: There is no minimum order value for online orders. Free Shipping: For retail customers, orders above £150 qualify for free shipping and Wholesale Customers: Orders above £300 are eligible for free shipping.

  • Standard Delivery (3 to 7 days) for orders below £150 for retail customers placed before 2 p.m. - £10.00
  • Standard Delivery (3 to 7 days) for order below £300 for wholesale customers placed before 2pm - £25.00

5.4 VAT: Prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable. We update our website to reflect the current VAT rate, and you will be charged accordingly on the day of delivery.

5.5 Delivery: All delivery slots are subject to availability, and orders must be completed, including any amendments.

5.6 Payment Methods: We accept MasterCard, Visa Credit, Visa Debit (UK registered cards only), and valid PayPal accounts. The billing address must match the card's registered address. We do not accept cash, cheques, in-store coupons, gift vouchers, or printed coupons online.

5.7 Payment Authorization: When you place an order, we will immediately charge the card and authorize payment for the order's full value.

5.8 Failed Payment: Orders with unsuccessful card payments on the order date will not be placed.

5.9 Order Confirmation: Acknowledgment of your order by email is not confirmation that your order has been accepted.

5.10 Contract: A legally binding contract is established only when we complete product delivery. Ownership transfers to you upon delivery, and you assume no legal liability until then.

5.11 Product Images: Product images on our website are for illustration purposes. Actual products may slightly differ in appearance, and packaging may vary.

5.12 Product Availability: While we strive to maintain a broad product selection, some items may be temporarily out of stock. We aim to replace unavailable items with similar or better-value products at no additional cost. We never replace unavailable products with lower-value or smaller pack size alternatives. You will not be charged for products we do not supply.

5.13 Not for Resale: We do not supply products for resale unless agreed upon in writing. All products are intended for personal use.

5.14 Age Restrictions/Alcohol: We do not stock age-restricted or alcoholic products.

5.15 Statutory Rights: Our products are designed to comply with your statutory rights regarding satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, and matching their description.

  1. Carrier Bags:

6.1 Packaging: We do not use our branded packaging for online orders. Items will be delivered in suitable, minimal packaging to reduce plastic usage. Providing your own bags is not permitted for hygiene reasons. Bag suitability is at our sole discretion, and our decision is final.

  1. Amending or Cancelling Your Online Order and Refund Process:

7.1 Amending Your Order: Orders cannot be amended. Inspect all goods upon delivery, and report any shortages or claims immediately.

7.2 Cancelling Your Order: You have the legal right to cancel an order within 7 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) from the order date. To cancel or return products after delivery, a £30 handling fee applies. This right to cancel does not apply to perishable products, defrosted items, or items unfit for resale once unwrapped.

7.3 Cancellation Process:

To cancel an order: Email orders@skfoodsltd.com.

To cancel an order after receiving the goods: Contact our Customer Care team via email at orders@skfoodsltd.com.

7.4 Product Care: Products to be returned must be kept in an appropriate manner. You may be required to return products at your own cost, unless they were misdescribed or faulty. A £30 handling fee may apply.

  1. Picking Your Order:

8.1 Product Sourcing: We take care to source the best products, sometimes from different countries. You may receive the same product from various countries at different times.

8.2 Expiry Dates: We select products with reasonable expiry dates when picking your order. Some fresh produce items may have a limited shelf life, potentially less than two days upon delivery.

  1. Quality Assurance:

9.1 Quality/Exchange/Refunds: If you are dissatisfied with product quality, we may consider replacements, although they are not guaranteed. We do not manufacture, produce, or pack products; we purchase high-quality branded goods from trusted suppliers. Exchange or refund decisions are at our discretion. We aim to address all queries within seven working days.

  1. Special Offers, Promotions, and Competitions:

10.1 Current Offers: Visit the 'Offers' tab on our website for current promotions.

10.2 Geographical Exclusions: Special pricing, bundles, deals, discounts, or similar offers may be available to online customers within the UK only, excluding ROI, Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.

10.3 Availability: Offers may vary for existing wholesale/retail credit customers. Some offers may be exclusive to online customers or in-store customers. Offers are subject to availability.

10.4 Limited Time: Offers are time-limited, as specified on our website and within each offer.

10.5 Pricing: When a special offer applies to your order and you meet its specific terms, we will apply the appropriate pricing or action to your order.

10.6 Changes: We reserve the right to change the terms of special offers or withdraw them at any time without prior notice. Different customers may receive different special offers, promotions, or competition opportunities at our discretion.

11.1 Notice: We may change these terms and conditions, as indicated by the date at the top of this page.

11.2 Check Each Time: The terms and conditions and privacy policy in effect when you place an order will apply to that order.

12.1 Assignment: We may transfer our rights and obligations under any order to another organization without affecting your rights or obligations.

12.2 Severance: If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in full force and effect.

12.3 Waiver: Our failure to enforce any obligation or right does not waive our rights. Any waiver by us will be confirmed in writing and does not indicate a continuous waiver.

12.4 Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
