Ingredients
🔸️10-12 chicken wings (lollipops)
🔸️1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
🔸️2 tbsp soy sauce
🔸️2 tbsp red chili sauce
🔸️2 tsp vinegar
🔸️Salt to taste
🔸️Oil for deep frying
🔸️1 cup all-purpose flour
🔸️1/2 cup cornflour (cornstarch)
🔸️1 tsp red chili powder
🔸️1 tsp black pepper powder
🔸️1 egg
🔸️Water (as needed)
🔸️2 tbsp oil
🔸️1 tbsp finely chopped garlic- ginger
🔸️2-3 green chilies, slit
🔸️1/4 cup finely chopped spring onions
🔸️1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
🔸️1 tsp sugar
Instructions:
🔸️ Separate the drumette from the wingette
🔸️French the wings by pushing the meat down to one end to create a lollipop shape. Remove the smaller bone from the wingette.
🔸️In a bowl, mix the ginger-garlic paste, soy sauce, red chili sauce, vinegar, and salt.
🔸️Add the chicken lollipops to the marinade and mix well and marinate for 30 mins.
🔸️In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, corn flour, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and salt.
🔸️Add the egg and enough water to make a thick, smooth batter.
🔸️Heat oil in a deep frying pan
🔸️Dip each marinated chicken lollipop in the batter and fry the lollipops in batches
🔸️Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add the chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilies and chopped spring onions
🔸️Add the soy sauce, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, and sugar. Mix well
🔸️Adjust salt to taste.
🔸️Add the fried chicken lollipops to the sauce and toss to coat them evenly.
🔸️Garnish with chopped spring onions or cilantro if desired and serve hot.
