“Spice up your dinner with this rich and creamy Chicken Tikka Masala! 🍛✨
Perfectly marinated chicken in a luscious tomato-based sauce, packed with flavour.

Ingredients:
🔸️ 500g boneless chicken thighs or breast
🔸️ 150g plain yogurt
🔸️ 1 tbsp lemon juice
🔸️ 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
🔸️ 2 tsp each ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, & chilli powder
🔸️ 1 tsp turmeric
🔸️ 1 tbsp butter or ghee
🔸️ 1 large onion, finely chopped
🔸️ 2 cloves garlic, minced
🔸️ 400g can of crushed tomatoes
🔸️ Salt and pepper
🔸️ 200ml cream or coconut milk
Instructions:
🔸️ In a bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, ground spices, and salt. Add the chicken pieces and mix well.
🔸️ Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
🔸️ Preheat a grill pan or oven to 200°C. Place the marinated chicken on the grill or a baking tray, and cook for 10-12 minutes.
🔸️ In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onions and cook until golden brown. Add the minced garlic, ginger, and green chilies, if using. Sauté until fragrant.
🔸️ Add the ground cumin, coriander, paprika, and turmeric. Cook for a few seconds. Pour in the crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10-15 minutes
🔸️ Stir in the cream or coconut milk and season with salt and pepper.
🔸️ Add the grilled chicken pieces to the sauce, simmering for an additional 10 minutes.
🔸️ Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with basmati rice or naan.
