Sweet, savoury and oven-baked to perfection a comforting dish with a festive twist 😍🔥
Ingredients:
🔸 500g chicken thighs or breasts
🔸 1 tbsp olive oil
🔸 ½ cup cranberry sauce or dried cranberries
🔸 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
🔸 2 tbsp soy sauce
🔸 2 cloves garlic, minced
🔸 1 tsp dried thyme or rosemary
🔸 ½ tsp paprika
🔸 ¼ tsp black pepper
🔸 Salt to taste
🔸 Fresh parsley or rosemary for garnish
Instructions:
🔸 Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan) / 200°C (conventional).
🔸 In a bowl, mix olive oil, cranberry sauce, honey, soy sauce, garlic, thyme, paprika, salt & pepper.
🔸 Place the chicken in a baking dish and pour the cranberry mixture over, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
🔸 Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
🔸 Remove foil and bake for a further 15–20 minutes until the chicken is golden, sticky and cooked through.
🔸 Spoon the sauce over the chicken halfway through for extra flavour.
🔸 Garnish with fresh parsley or rosemary.
🔸 Serve hot with roasted vegetables, rice or mashed potatoes.
