Creamy Chicken Korma Recipe

Ingredients:
🔸️500g Boneless Chicken
🔸️2 tbsp Oil or Ghee
🔸️3-4 Garlic cloves
🔸️1-inch piece Ginger
🔸️3 tbsp Natural Yogurt
🔸️100ml Double Cream
🔸️50g Ground Almonds
🔸️1 tsp Turmeric Powder,Ground Coriander,Garam Masala
🔸️½ tsp Ground Cumin,Chilli Powder
🔸️Salt to taste
🔸️Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:
🔸️ In a bowl, mix the chicken with yogurt, turmeric, salt, and half of the garam masala. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavour).
🔸️ Heat oil or ghee in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden and soft. Stir in minced garlic and ginger and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
🔸️ Lower the heat, add ground coriander, cumin, chilli powder, and the remaining garam masala. Toast the spices for a minute until aromatic.
🔸️ Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until sealed on all sides. Stir in ground almonds and pour in about 100ml of water. Cover and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
🔸️ Once the chicken is cooked through, stir in the double cream. Let it simmer uncovered for another 5 minutes until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
🔸️Sprinkle freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with basmati rice or warm naan bread.
