Creamy Chicken Pasta Recipe

"Indulge in creamy comfort with this delicious creamy chicken pasta. 🍝✨

Ingredients:

🔸️2 tablespoons olive oil

🔸️2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

🔸️Salt and pepper    

🔸️3 cloves garlic, minced

🔸️1 cup heavy cream

🔸️1 cup chicken broth

🔸️1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

🔸️1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

🔸️8 ounces pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)

🔸️1 cup baby spinach or chopped fresh basil (optional)

🔸️1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

 

Instructions:

🔸️Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

🔸️Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.

🔸️Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

🔸️In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if needed and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.

🔸️Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cook for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.

🔸️Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream. Cook for another 2 minutes.

🔸️ Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

🔸️ Stir in the dried Italian seasoning.

🔸️ Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine, ensuring everything is well-coated with the sauce.

🔸️ If using, stir in the baby spinach or chopped basil until wilted.

🔸️ Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
