Crispy Fried Fish Recipe

"Golden and crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside.
This crispy fried fish is the perfect dish for any seafood lover!

Ingredients

🔸️4 fish fillets
🔸️Salt and pepper
🔸️1 cup all-purpose flour
🔸️1 tsp garlic powder
🔸️1 tsp onion powder
🔸️1 tsp paprika
🔸️1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
🔸️2 eggs
🔸️1 cup breadcrumb
🔸️Vegetable oil, for frying
🔸️Lemon wedges, for serving
🔸️Tartar sauce or your favourite dipping sauce, for serving

Instructions
🔸️Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and pepper.
🔸️In a shallow dish, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper
🔸️In another shallow dish, beat the eggs.
🔸️In a third shallow dish, place the breadcrumbs.
🔸️Dredge each fish fillet in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess
🔸️Dip the fillet into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off.
🔸️ Coat the fillet in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere. Set aside on a plate
🔸️ In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. The oil is ready when a small piece of bread sizzles and turns golden brown in about 30 seconds
🔸️ Carefully add the breaded fish fillets to the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until the fish is golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C)
🔸️ Transfer the fried fish to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil
🔸️ Serve the crispy fried fish with lemon wedges and your favourite dipping sauce, such as tartar sauce
