Garlic Butter Prawns Recipe

Juicy prawns tossed in rich, garlicky butter with a hint of chilli 🧄🦐✨

Ingredients:
🔸 500g raw prawns (cleaned & deveined)
🔸 2 tbsp butter
🔸 1 tbsp olive oil
🔸 Salt & pepper to taste
🔸 1 tsp red chilli flakes (adjust to taste)
🔸 1 tsp paprika (optional, for colour)

For Garlic Butter Sauce:
🔸 1 tbsp butter (extra)
🔸 1 tbsp garlic (finely minced)
🔸 1 tbsp lemon juice
🔸 1 tsp honey (optional, for balance)

Garnish:
🔸 Fresh parsley or coriander
🔸 Lemon wedges

Instructions:
🔸 Pat prawns dry and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
🔸 Heat olive oil and butter in a pan over medium-high heat.
🔸 Add prawns and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and juicy.
🔸 Lower the heat, add minced garlic, chilli flakes and extra butter.
🔸 Sauté for 30–40 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn the garlic).
🔸 Add lemon juice and honey, toss prawns until glossy and coated.
🔸 Garnish with fresh herbs and lemon wedges.
🔸 Serve hot with rice, bread or as a party starter 🦐🔥
