Korean Fried Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
🔸 500g chicken wings or boneless chicken
🔸 1/2 cup cornflour
🔸 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
🔸 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
🔸 1/2 tsp black pepper
🔸 Salt to taste
🔸 Oil for frying

For the Korean sauce:
🔸 2 tbsp gochujang
🔸 2 tbsp ketchup
🔸 1 tbsp soy sauce
🔸 1 tbsp honey
🔸 1 tbsp brown sugar
🔸 2 cloves garlic
🔸 1 tsp sesame oil
🔸 1 tsp chilli flakes
🔸 Sesame seeds & spring onions for garnish

Instructions:
🔸 Clean and pat dry the chicken pieces
🔸 Marinate with ginger-garlic paste, black pepper & salt for 20–30 mins
🔸 Coat the chicken evenly with cornflour & all-purpose flour
🔸 Heat oil and deep fry until crispy, golden, and fully cooked
🔸 In a pan, sauté minced garlic with sesame oil for 1 minute
🔸 Add gochujang, ketchup, soy sauce, honey, brown sugar & chilli flakes
🔸 Mix well and simmer for 2–3 minutes until glossy
🔸 Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until fully coated
🔸 Garnish with sesame seeds & chopped spring onions
🔸 Serve hot with fries or steamed rice 🍗🔥
