Lamb Kofta Curry Recipe
You haven’t tried curry night at home until you’ve made this👨🍳
Ingredients:
🔸️500g lamb mince
🔸️4 small onion,
🔸️2 tbsp fresh coriander
🔸️1 green chilli
🔸️2 tsp ginger-garlic paste, ground cumin, garam masala, ground cumin
🔸️1/2 tsp turmeric, chilli powder
🔸️Salt to taste
🔸️2 tbsp gram flour
🔸️2 tbsp oil or ghee
🔸️2 medium tomatoes
🔸️200ml water
Instructions:
🔸️In a bowl, combine all kofta ingredients and mix until well.
🔸️Form into small balls.
🔸️Heat a little oil in a non-stick pan and lightly brown the koftas on all sides.
🔸️Set aside. Don’t cook through they will finish cooking in the curry.
🔸️Heat 2 tbsp oil in a deep pan.
🔸️Sauté chopped onions until golden brown and add ginger-garlic paste
🔸️Stir in the spices
🔸️Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates
🔸️Add water to the sauce and bring to a gentle simmer.
🔸️Carefully add the browned koftas to the pan
🔸️Cover and simmer on low for 20–25 minutes.
🔸️Finish with garam masala and fresh coriander.
