Mutton Shoulder Curry Recipe

A rich, hearty, and flavour-packed mutton shoulder curry slow-cooked with aromatic spices for tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat. Perfect with naan, chapati, or steamed basmati rice.

Ingredients:
• Mutton shoulder (cubed)
• Onion (sliced)
• Garlic & ginger paste
• Tomatoes (chopped)
• Green chillies
• Turmeric powder
• Red chilli powder
• Coriander powder
• Cumin powder
• Garam masala
• Fresh coriander
• Cooking oil
• Salt & black pepper

Method:

  1. Heat oil and sauté the onions until golden brown.
  2. Add garlic, ginger, and green chillies, then cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes and spices, cooking until the oil begins to separate.
  4. Add the mutton shoulder and cook for 5–7 minutes until well coated in the masala.
  5. Pour in enough water, cover, and simmer on low heat until the mutton is tender. Finish with garam masala and fresh coriander before serving.
