Salmon with Herbed Rice Recipe

Flaky, buttery salmon served over fragrant herbed rice – a wholesome, restaurant-style meal you can make at home 😍🔥

Ingredients:
🔸 2 salmon fillets
🔸 1 cup basmati rice
🔸 2 cups water or vegetable stock
🔸 2 tbsp olive oil or butter
🔸 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
🔸 1 tbsp fresh dill or coriander (chopped)
🔸 2 garlic cloves (minced)
🔸 1 tbsp lemon juice
🔸 1 tsp lemon zest
🔸 1/2 tsp black pepper
🔸 Salt to taste
🔸 1/2 tsp paprika or chilli flakes (optional)
🔸 Lemon slices (for serving)

Instructions:
🔸 Rinse the basmati rice thoroughly and cook with water or stock until fluffy. Set aside.
🔸 Heat 1 tbsp oil or butter in a pan, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
🔸 Add cooked rice, chopped parsley, dill, lemon zest, salt and pepper. Mix well and keep warm.
🔸 Pat dry the salmon fillets and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
🔸 Heat remaining oil or butter in a pan over medium heat.
🔸 Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes, then flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until flaky.
🔸 Drizzle lemon juice over the salmon for fresh flavour.
🔸 Plate the herbed rice and place the salmon on top.
🔸 Garnish with extra herbs and lemon slices. Serve hot and enjoy 🐟🌿🔥
