Crispy, flavour-packed fish fingers with a desi twist – perfect for snacks, starters, or party platters 😍✨
Ingredients:
🔸 300g fish fillets (cut into finger-sized strips)
🔸 2 tbsp cornflour
🔸 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
🔸 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
🔸 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
🔸 1 tsp red chilli powder
🔸 1 tsp garam masala
🔸 1 tsp chaat masala
🔸 1/2 tsp black pepper
🔸 Salt to taste
🔸 1 tbsp lemon juice
🔸 1 cup breadcrumbs
🔸 Oil for deep frying
Instructions:
🔸 Wash and pat dry the fish strips.
🔸 In a bowl, mix ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, chilli powder, garam masala, chaat masala, black pepper, salt and lemon juice.
🔸 Add the fish strips and marinate for at least 20–30 minutes.
🔸 Coat the marinated fish lightly with cornflour and all-purpose flour.
🔸 Dip each piece in beaten egg (optional), then coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
🔸 Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
🔸 Carefully add the coated fish fingers into hot oil.
🔸 Fry for 4–5 minutes until golden, crispy and cooked through.
🔸 Remove and place on kitchen paper to drain excess oil.
🔸 Serve hot with ketchup, mayo, or mint chutney and enjoy
