Spicy Prawn Curry Recipe

A delicious and flavour-packed South Asian curry perfect for spice lovers. This easy prawn curry is ideal for weeknight dinners or a special seafood dish to impress guests.

Ingredients:
🔸️500g raw prawns
🔸️2 tbsp vegetable oil
🔸️1 large onion,2 tomatoes
🔸️1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
🔸️1 tsp cumin seeds,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,ground coriander
🔸️1/2 tsp garam masala
🔸️Salt to taste
🔸️Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:
🔸️Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.
🔸️Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
🔸️Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1–2 minutes until the raw smell disappears.
🔸️Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and oil begins to separate.
🔸️Mix in turmeric, red chilli powder, ground coriander, and salt. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
🔸️Add the prawns and stir well to coat them with the spices. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the prawns turn pink and are cooked through.
🔸️For a creamier curry, add coconut milk and simmer for another 2–3 minutes.
🔸️Finish with garam masala and fresh coriander.
🔸️Serve hot with steamed basmati rice or naan.
